LUSAT-OSCAR 19 CW-Beacon-Reception

LUSAT-OSCAR 19 or LO-19 can often be heard on 437.126 MHz in CW with Morse-encoded Telemetry (voltages, temperatures etc. from inside the spacecraft).

Sample: E LUSAT HI HI 6O AVT ABA AU4 AD4 AA4 ABT TTU AEE

The number after HI shows the used EPROM-block of the CW-microcontroller, O stands for OK = RAM of microcontroller isn't corrupted by radiation. The following eight analog values are in reduced Morsecode (A = 1; U = 2, V = 3, 4 = 4, E = 5, 6 = 6, B = 7, D = 8, N = 9, T = 0). The real values of each channel (X) must be calculated with the following formulas:

1. +5 V reg. 636 / X V DL6DBN Equipment

Antenna: 11 Ele X-Yagi (RHCP)
Transceiver: Yaesu FT-847
Demodulation: Ear, CwGet 1.1 (UA9OSV)
Telemetry: own LO-19 CW-Decoder

2. +10 V Batt. 0,064 * X V
3. CW-TX-Temp. 0,354 * (134,7 - X) °C
4. CW-TX-Power-Out (10,9 + X)^2 / 40,1 mW
5. Temperature Box 4 0,356 * (136 - X) °C
6. +10 V Current 0,7 * X mA
7. +Z-Solarpanel 0,15 * X V
8. +8,5 V reg. 0,056 * X V
